Make 7th Street Sparkle, Dec. 1st, 2007

Allentown, PA .--- On Sat, December 1, 2007, from 2-5PM, The Seventh Street Development Committee is teaming up with volunteers and shop owners, along with St. Luke’s Neighborhood Center, Weed & Seed and Allentown’s Bureau of Recycling and Solid Waste for Make 7th Street Sparkle. This event will be both a Neighborhood Beautification Project and 7th Street Cleanup.

Volunteers will meet at 2 p.m. at St. Luke’s Neighborhood Center located at

435 N 7th Street
Allentown, PA 18102
Plenty Off-Street Parking

99.9 The Hawk – The Valley’s Classic Hits Station will have a live feed from St. Luke’s from 2-4PM. The Seventh Street Development Committee, A Main Street Initiative will have Hot Apple Cider, Hot Cocoa and Munchies for all.

Events like Make 7th Street Sparkle are one of ongoing missions of The Seventh Street Development Committee as well as the City of Allentown’s Bureau of Recycling and Solid Waste to help promote awareness of a clean, safe, and beautiful community, and to forge partnerships with government, communities and organizations with similar goals and objectives.
